Democrat Convention Day Two
thecampaignjunkie continues his four day blogging of the Democratic National Convention….
I have to admit right off the bat that I knew that tonight I would only watch maybe five ten minutes a pop. Tonight was hate on President Bush night. And as much as I have been disappointed by the Presidency, some of the charges Democrats make are um disgusting.
(In the interlude, I switch to Sportscenter and Sportscenter is doing an interview with Obama. So Obama has penetrated the worldwide leader now? Wonder if McCain is going to get some equal time next week.)
And now we are back live and HRH HRC takes the stage. She is an attractive 60 year old woman that is for sure. How did Chelsea get that good looking? Hum? How liberal do you think Chelsea is on a scale of 1-10? Could I make it work? (See these are things I think you need to know are going through my head.)
HRC whipping the crowd into a feverish pitch. This may be the best speech I have ever heard her give about herself. Obama almost nowhere to be found.
I am betting my socks that some superdelegates are having buyers remorse right now. She is really hitting her points right now. Information about Obama - not so much.
Standard Democrat tying Bush/McCain. This doesn’t work and hasn’t worked. I think McCain has carved enough of his own man image over the years, very hard for them to make this connection.
Hillary giving a “Dave” like performance here. Hum, the former President looks really old and needs a haircut. Boy, they have him in the nosebleeds.
Still waiting on something relating to Obama. I agree what he agrees with - WHAT IS THAT?
And HRH is done. The crowd is going crazy. Wow! Honestly, I am so glad she is not the D candidate. I think we are getting our butt kicked in the fall.
I have mentioned it a couple times but nary an Obama mention. Hum! This will warrant more discussion later.

update 1 at 8:01am - Bill Kristol of Fox News counted 10 uses of Obama’s name. Surprisingly few.
